Yesterday, I attended a few sessions at the SXSW PhotoCamp. This year PhotoCamp was outside in a tent, last year it was in a building.
The presentation were hard to see in the tent. The tv SouthBy had set up had a glare on it no matter where you sat in the tent for 2 sessions I attended.
The session that appealed to me most was by Peter Krogh. Peter is as contributor to the ASMP Book released in 2012, The ASMP Guide to New Markets in Photography. His session was about Photographic Workflow. I learned that I am doing mostly everything correctly in my own workflow. I should add one more back up harddrive and I should add custom metadata to my photos. I will begin adding metadata immediately and I need to get another harddrive to use as a back up.
Hopefully next year PhotoCamp will be even better.
